Bernardo Sedlacek hails from Rio, Brazil but travels worldwide to study and teach magic. He has an incredible grasp of the essence of magical entertainment and how to take advantage of the “off beat,” when the spectators’ attention has been let down. A friend and contemporary of Dani DaOrtiz and Juan Tamariz, he spends time in Spain learning fine details to card sleights plus the reasons behind why they fool us.
In the “Nameless Lecture" he teaches psychology, theories and subtleties that can be used in any kind of magic. It is divided in three parts:
• Mini show
• Explanations of the mini show in full details
• A la carte (informal talk about magic) + a surprise
“During a magic convention, in Finland, I had the chance to meet and appreciate the wonderful work of Bernardo Sedlacek. He blew me away over, and over again, so many times, with a disarming smile, and a real desire to share new wonders... my friends, a new star is born...don't miss his lecture, or any miracle he will show you...and to top it all, he is the nicest man on the planet!” – Gaetan Bloom
“Bernardo Sedlacek's lecture blew me away. He is both a student and a master of magic and leaves no stone unturned. You'll not only learn some killer magic but also dive deep into the psychology and staging of what makes an effect powerful. It was a pleasure watching Bernardo work and I can't wait to see what comes next! Do yourself a favor and go see this lecture.” – Patrick Redford
“I got to meet Bernardo Sedlacek this year. I was greatly impressed with the skill, originality, and thought that this young man has put into his card magic. Bernardo is destined to become one of magic’s great card stars and if you get the chance to see him work do not miss the opportunity!” - Allan Ackerman
