When: Thursday January 18th / Doors open 7PM - Lecture starts at 7:30PM

Tickets: Free for members and $20 guests

Where: Agricola Lutheran Church - 25 Old York Mills Road

Be sure to catch Gerry Frenette's lecture "THE  PSYCHOLOGY OF MAGIC." It's about misdirection, subtleties, and logic, as they pertain to all forms of magic.

The lecture is well balanced with teaching & talking segments as well as showing  fully developed routines and then explaining the psychology behind them in detail. Gerry draws on many years of experience as a performer, inventor, illusion builder, and designer, and is equally at home with close-up, comedy magic, children's entertainment, and grand illusion. Whatever type of magic you like to perform, learn the "why"  behind the "how", and use these principles to make your magic more logical and natural.

You'll enjoy many laughs in the process as Gerry relates several hilarious anecdotes to illustrate his points. He delivered this lecture at numerous Magic Conventions, I.B.M. rings, and at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. He will offer lecture notes, books, and a few small effects for sale afterward.

Gerry Frenette is well known in the magic industry as an illusion designer and builder, but he has also been a featured performer several times at the Magic Castle, at Major magic conventions, and on cruise ships all over the world. He has recently written a book, My Life as a Magic Maker, a memoir detailing the the trials and tribulations of his career in magic. Gerry Will have copies of his book available for purchase at the lecture for an even $25. You will save about $10 including the tax and shipping from Amazon. For more information on the book: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CQBM96Q2
