All over the world, video chat magic is exploding. It has been featured by AGT, BGT, Penn & Teller, The Late Show, Ellen, and many more. Creative magicians have never been busier, and agile corporate mentalists can’t keep up with demand (even though they never leave the house). New tricks and methods are being created daily to cater for and leverage this new performance space. It’s exciting, challenging, and lucrative.

In this never-before-seen 2 hour lecture, Will Houstoun and Harry De Cruz will share a selection of the best material from, a project by Will and Steve Thompson that features tricks, tools, essays and technology specifically designed to enhance your performances over Zoom and Skype. You will learn brand new visual and mental effects, devious methods, and cutting edge concepts unique to this exploding field.

Whether you are a professional getting bookings for shows on Zoom, or a hobbyist who wants some amazing magic to share with your friends online, this is the lecture for you.

Harry and Will’s lecture was the best one I’ve seen using Zoom… if not the best overall on any subject. The lecture was on magic for video chat, but even those who don’t and never will use Zoom will love it. Recommended!

Barron & Athena have assembled a Zoominar about finding your niche. Whether you are a professional, a hobbyist or in another field than magic entirely, niching is a great way to add value to whatever you do! This is a lecture about the business side of magic, but Barron still has a few tricks up his sleeve for virtual guests.

From Barron Stringfellow:

I have been niching almost from the very beginning in 1973.

My first show was a “Blue and Gold” banquet for Cubs. I felt that if I used blues and golds, magic from the scout handbook and networked with the leaders, it would be beneficial. It was. I worked Blue and Golds & even Jamborees using only Magic from the Scout Handbook. Been Niching ever since!

That was the primary niche which branched off into The sub niche, which became kid’s fashion show performances. Toss in a couple very notable birthday parties for flavor! No pageants, please! There was also a certain “allure” to the lounge shows of the time to feature young performers during the afternoons in Vegas. Sub niche number 4.

You will hear more about the progression during the seminar!
