Spend the evening with one of the most inventive and original minds magic has ever known. With a career spanning decades, Max has created and published more original magic and mentalism than just about anyone you can name. He has appeared on countless TV shows in multiple countries (and languages!). He was featured in his own Canadian series The Maximum Dimension created for TVO and had guest appearances on The Fresh Prince of Belair and Mork and Mindy! He has received a creative fellowship from the Academy of Magical Arts and the Allan Slaight Lifetime Achievement Award.
Now as we get accustomed to social distanced life, Max has crafted a new lecture for the virtual stage. The lecture will emphasize mentalism along with principles that can be applied to all varieties of magic and material that will fool you first and delight your audiences later. The lecture includes material for live performances and interactive online ones as well including a trick where everyone can participate from home with their own deck of cards, taught by a master creator and performer.
We hope you will join us for this very special lecture. This will be a live lecture on Zoom, not a streamed video so participants will be able to ask questions in real time. Tickets will be available only to members first (August 17-22) and then open to guests until we have reached the limit of our chat room size.
YOU MUST RESERVE A TICKET IN ORDER TO GET THE LINK TO JOIN THE VIRTUAL LECTURE.
If you do not already have Zoom, you can download the application for free and sign up here.
Sad to report the passing of Paul Wildbaum. Paul was unquestionably a unique performer in Toronto, blending magic with clowning, mime and an assortment of allied arts. He was an inspiration and mentor to many. He will be deeply missed.
